I am self-employed right now. Or should I say a micro-entrepreneur? Well, how does it matter !
But Rich Dad was right when he said that self-employment is still only on the way, business is everything.
Self-employement is much better than listening to meaningless gibberish from bosses who are far less comptent that monkey spinning wheels. But then, I had always wanted ultimate control. I would like to leverage my time and money into a business that can work almost automated. I wanted the liberty to excerise my own freedom, to think creatively and out-of-the-box. I needed my own baby.
The way I am doing it now, I still have to listen to clients. Well, clients you’ll have to listen to anyway. The point is that I am still not able to fully state my own terms and conditions - to an extent, I am - but then, it doesn’t look up to the mark.
The fact that I work for myself should have made it easy for me to take leave, take a vacation, call my own shots, do my own thing and reject clients who can be too demanding. I do all of that, but I don’t know why I still feel that they still have an upper-hand in this game.
Will I be able to move my cheese?
