It’s appalling to see that we all get ready to plunge deep into the world of business without the mindset that is expected of an entrepreneur, especially a budding one. One of the most important factors when it comes to business is information. The right knowledge. Unfortunately most of us are spoon-fed here. Our knowledge is usually limited only to whatever-you-learn-our daddies. How quaint !
Look across any of those self-made multi-billionaires and pompous, but still hard working millionaires and you will notice a single trait almost all of them have - they are all well-read. They have access to information and they are always on top of the world when it comes to knowing what ever it is that they ought to know.
Call that inspiration and develop the habit of reading. I had been looking for a single publication in India which would help me in trying to get to know more about the ever-growing world of Internet, business opportunities, Ideas, Marketing (Man, how has this bit of business grown now, what with Online marketing and mobile marketing and a lot more I can’t even begin to comprehend) - I haven’t found a local one yet. However, I rely on a few membership sites in the US like the IAHBE and others which are some amazing sources of information one can ever lay their hands on.
I thought I would as well list out some incredible sources of information for you, in case you did understand what had been mentioned above :
- Iahbe.org - A little on the expensive side for an average Indian, but still cheaper than your monthly cigarette, booze and abortive dating sprees.
- You could try a free subscription for a full year at Website Magazine.
- Inc.com
- Entrepreneur.com
You just need to have access to the right information to make it big in this world. Period.
