Offline marketing is quite simple. Hire a ad man. Pay him. He will do the dirty work.
But then, when it comes to Online Marketing, my head just spins at the amount of Information I have that I should sink my teeth into. The list is seemingly endless and it seems abortive to even get started. I am sure by the time I finish, I would have missed a couple of marketing tools or ideas.
The result of all the head-banging is still a sweet one. Once I get a hang of it all, I am sure it will work out well for me. But then, what is funny is the disagreement between the ‘Gurus’ about what method is good and which one is not . If these guys were the experts and they debate about the marketing methods and their effectiveness, what do you with the small guys like me who haven’t even learned not to pee on bed yet?
There are some good things about any online marketing method - You can track them and hence know where exactly to focus and where not to. You might know which one of your ads are working and which ones aren’t. They are inexpensive, cover a larger pie of consumer attention, geographically limitless and globally reachable.
The sheer size of the Internet, you cannot fathom. But it makes me faint that if I really had a product or serve that I could distribute, don’t I have the world’s attention?
Are my competitors listening?
